Job Description
A leading construction company in Sharjah is seeking qualified Safety Officers to ensure compliance with UAE safety standards and company regulations at all project sites. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of workplace safety, risk assessment, and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities
Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Conduct safety inspections and prepare detailed reports
Provide safety training and awareness sessions to workers
Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures
Report accidents or near-miss incidents to the project manager
Ensure all workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Coordinate emergency response and evacuation plans

Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the UAE construction sector
Strong knowledge of UAE labor and safety laws
Valid safety certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
Good communication skills in English; Arabic or Hindi is an advantage
Attention to detail and proactive attitude toward safety improvement
