Job Description

Construct and repair walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other materials
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure work meets design requirements
Mix and apply mortar, cement, and other bonding materials
Ensure accurate measurements and alignment for structural stability
Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction workers to complete projects on schedule
Perform finishing work such as plastering, pointing, and surface preparation
Follow safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work area
Train and mentor junior masons or apprentices as required

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in masonry preferred
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in masonry or construction work, preferably in the Gulf region
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of brick, stone, and concrete work
Ability to use hand tools and masonry equipment
Understanding of building codes and safety regulations in Qatar
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and precision
Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor conditions
Teamwork and communication skills
Problem-solving ability to handle on-site challenges
